I flew across the US twice in November with my SatRDay packed in the Carlton case, locked. I taped a notice near the lock, saying If you have any questions or concerns about the contents of this case, please call my cell phone, xxx-yyy-zzzz, or have me paged. No one disturbed the case or called me on any of the legs of my flights.

This is, of course, no guarantee that bad things won't happen to my bike or yours next time we fly!
